Check What the Document Covers

A document is useful only when its scope matches the requirement you are reviewing. Identify the named legal entity, covered site, stated scope and relevant validity information. Do not assume that one certificate automatically covers every factory or service shown on this website.

Separate Different Evidence

Management-system certification, material documentation and component inspection records serve different purposes. Determine which evidence your approval process requires. A system certificate should not be represented as a measurement report for an individual part.

State Your Approval Requirements

Provide the required certification, document format and applicable supplier-approval criteria before quotation.

Any requirement outside the verified scope needs separate review. Do not assume medical, aerospace, automotive or other sector approval from a general precision-manufacturing description.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does one certificate cover all three factories?

Only the entities, sites and scope named in the relevant document are covered. Check that scope against the actual manufacturing arrangement.

Can I request the full certificate?

Request the relevant document through the project contact. Disclosure and any verification route depend on the actual document and permissions.

Does an ISO certificate mean automotive approval?

Do not infer a separate sector-specific approval from a general certificate. State the exact requirement and review its verified scope.

Are material certificates shown on this page?

This page distinguishes document types. Material records for an order must be connected to the applicable material and traceability scope.

What happens when a document is renewed?

The published register should reflect the verified current document and remove or clearly archive superseded information.

Does certification guarantee that my part is conforming?

A management-system certificate is not a component measurement report. Your part still requires the agreed acceptance checks.

How do I check whether a certificate is current?

Review the validity information and the issuing or verification source. Ask for clarification when details are missing or inconsistent.

Can an external process provider certificate be used?

It may be relevant to that provider and operation, but should not be represented as certification of a different entity or the whole supply chain.

Can I request an audit questionnaire?

Provide the questionnaire and required evidence. The responses must be based on verified arrangements for the relevant entity and site.

What should I include in a documentation request?

State the required document, applicable standard or approval condition, relevant business line and the entity or site information needed.
